Actively Listening

In humanities we did this thing called Actively listening is when I have to tell my partner how to draw and what things and features so I would say To Tom there is a mountain on the top right hand corner for example. The thinking skills we used was Creativity because it is how we would draw an explain with creative ideas.

A. My drawing was not very accurate but it looked like the actual picture but in a rubbish way 

B. yes it was good and accurate 

C. No not really because it was hard to hear what your partner was asking because of all the noise in the class.

D.I found it easier to draw because it was harder to draw and you had a picture to look at and say what it looks like.     

ELP reflection

THE YEAR 8 ELP                      


You zhen came over to my house to do the ELP at first we didn’t do much but after that we got started on our plane for the eco friendly resort. In the resort we had the little houses each house ran on solar powered panels. Each house took a half an hour to build including the restaurant. in our eco friendly resort we had a garbage area for wast food and all then from the garbage area it went to the compost are to be maid in to compost from there it went to the green house to grow the food and then it goes to the restaurant. We had a natural river pool for the guests to swim in and on one end of the river there is a water purification plant to clean the water for tap water and toilet water. Then it goes to the other side of the river to get the water cleaned. from there it cleans the water that the humans have used and sends it back into the river. In our resort we have also got a fish farm they breed the fish and when it gets to a good size the fish will be taken to the restaurant to be eaten.    

Awesome Humanities

We went to bukit tinggi and cherating during school It took two hours to get from nexus to bukit tinggi. When we got there we got into groups and went to our rooms. We had lunch and went to the team building place. we did things like laser maze. my favourite one was the water crossing. 

Then after we had done all the activates we did raft building. It was my favourite because we won the race. the we went back to the apartments we got ready to have diner and that and then we went to bed. The next day we were going to cherating. It took four hours to get to cherating from bukit tinggi. when we got there we had lunch, after lunch we went to the beach to do some work. after we did the boring sheet we went and did this thing to measure how high it is from the water to the top of the beach. Then we went to diner and went to bed. In the morning we wet to breakfast and straight after we went to do activities. we had to build sculptures out of the resources we had on the beach. Then we went home to nexus which was about four to five hours.
